mt12 Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Copy the oscommerce directory to your web server htdocs directory and open the location with your browser. Setup will automatically launch and guide you through the installation and configuration of your new online store. - I copied the oscommerce directory to htdocs C:\Program Files (x86)\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\oscommerce - I enter localhost in my browser and it show the directory listing. - I have configured Apache to work with PHP. I'm not sure where I'm going wrong or where to go start the installation?

Delete it and download v2.3.1 Chris mysql The MySQL extension is required but is not installed. Please enable it to continue installation. I double checked the PHP extensions installed, and MySQL is selected to install by default, so I'm not too sure where I'm going wrong? Edit: i figure I'm missing this: php5-mysql - although I don't know where to get it.
mt12 Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 I figured it, hadn't configured the php.ini file correctly...
