danvanw Posted March 18, 2003 Share Posted March 18, 2003 Hi everyone, I just want to say that I think that this osC system is brilliant and is a fantastic price. I have a query about shipping internationally using UPS and how to calculate the price for the end user. I have searched through numerous discussions on the forums about this topic and there doesn't seem to to be any progress. Having studied the code for a while now and viewing the comments made by some people, I see that the current calculations come from UPS's website and will only show a price if shipping from and to the USA only. Is there anyone out there who has thought of using the zone and rate charts that you can download in Excel CSV format from their website and then import them into a MySQL database and then writing a shipping to search for that data and display it for the customer without any errors? In my opinion the user shouldn't be seeing those errors, it only gives them an impression of being an inferior product. Anyways, some advice or solution of some description would be appreciated.
