kenkja Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Hi all, In V2.3.1 is there a limit to the size of files which can be uploaded. I have today tried to upload a .pdf to the documents manager which was 13Mb via the admin, but it appeared to time out. Also I've previously tried to upload mid/high resolution images say 3888X2592 pixels or greater via the add/edit a product and it always seems to time out and results in the product status changing from Green to Red. thanks Ken Os-commerce v2.3.3 Security Pro v11 Site Monitor IP Trap htaccess Protection Bad Behaviour Block Year Make Model Document Manager X Sell Star Product Modular Front Page Modular Header Tags
germ Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 It's not an osC limit, rather one imposed by the server. In your admin go to Tools >> Server Info On that page look for upload_max_filesize It's probably set at 2M (2 megabytes). If you need a larger limit you'll probably need to go thru your host. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
