Hello,

I am new to using the oscommerce 2.3.1 version and trying to figure things out.

I have a question regarding categories.

As I understand, when I make a category I need to enter a product in that category . My question is if I have a product that fits in in few categories do I need to keep entering it in every category ?

no..you can use the copy function and choose the "link" method

You can do this as you like, it can be confusing to add the same product to different categories, but also useful, depends

 

Anyway, after you entered a product once, you can copy it over to other categories.
