wblandt Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I want to change what it states in my privacy page. I know I need to change the following define('TEXT_INFORMATION', 'Put here your Privacy Notice information.'); I know I need to change where it has Put here your Privacy Notice information. I have a privacy policy in an html page. Am I able to put html there or do I use something else to convert it to put it there such as html to php converter? Or is it something else entirely? I tried to install ckeditor module to change it with the html option, but that worked so well that it had a complete melt down of oscommerce.
Guest Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Will, You can put HTML anywhere as long as it is between the opening ' and the closing ' Chris
wblandt Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 I was assuming that I could as the html was going there from the ckeditor. I didn't want to take a chance and break things. I know the problem with the ckeditor is starting with template_top and html_output I didn't want to mess with it while you were working on the customization.
wblandt Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 Well I changed what is between the open ' and closing ' and when i change it to anything but what is already there it jacks the page up. It is weird.
Guest Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Will, What are you trying to add, you can PM it to me if you wish and I will format it for you. More than likely you have conjunctions in your text that is causing an error. Chris
wblandt Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 You got it. I had a friend look at it and he had me change ' to \' That worked like a charm.
