Removal of admin id from adminstrators table

When I do this I get prompted for a new admin id and password... but after that it still says

 

"Error, Invalid administrator login attempt."

 

Thoughts???

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why would you remove the ID ?

 

If you have forgotten the admin username and password and are trying to gain access again, then you need to truncate the whole table and then log into your admin area to create a new username and password.
