kullan Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 When I click on my product thumbnail photos, they expand too large! If I click on them after they are expanded too large, then it will show a good size photo with a border around it. That's what it should do in the first place! How do I reduce the first click expansion or just get rid of it and directly go to the good size with the border around it? Thank you
multimixer Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 You need to give some more information, like what version of osCommerce, what script you use for the pop up etc My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
kullan Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 Well, I have version 2.3.1 and I believe the script is Php .... the best way I can explain it is: .....on my top (home) page, my product images when clicked on, they open up to a huge blown up picture, but when I click on the huge picture a smaller more fitting picture opens up....and that picture has a "close" or "X" icon that i can close normally. However, the big huge picture does not allow me to close it.... I have to refresh the page by going back to the "top" or "catalog" icon. I've been going through each file looking for an obvious number sequence that I might luck into, but haven't figured it out.. I know a little about code, but not much! I appreciate your help, thank you.
multimixer Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 So ok, you probably have the default "fancybox" script. Can you post your url to here? My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
kullan Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 Yes I do remember seeing that "fancybox" phrase a lot!!!! Do you want my website info url ...or do you want the files? Is it this file (Product_info.php) or this file (Popup_image.php)
multimixer Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 There are 2 things to do 1) For each product add a second image where it says "+add large image" on the product editing page. This can be the same image file, but need to be uploaded a second time 2) Reduce the image size. Your images are too big (3000x2500 pixels). This also cause a very slow pageload. Make them to be not taller/wider than eg 600-700 pixels, ok, maximum 1000 My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
kullan Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 Oh! okay...I was thinking they were too big and now I know they are!!! Thank you so much! I'll try it!
