How to completely disable address book allowing only 1 entry?

I want to completely remove the address book entries where customers can only input 1 address for their account.

 

Is there a way on how to do that?

 

I'm aware of an add-on that has option to limit address entries. However, what i need is to completely remove further entries with no other options.

Yup... however, I need to remove that option for my client and leaving 1 entry as default.

I don't think I understand the question then. If you set the maximum value to 1 then they can only have 1, OSC is already coded to check the value set and prevent any further address entries.

 

Are you asking how you can set the address they use to register with the site as their default address and not allow them to change that address, even if they happen to move or something?

I'm even more confused now. Are you concerned with customers editing their address, or the admin options, or both?

So, you want to restrict the option from the store owner ? That doesn't sound right.

 

Anyway, there is no way of removing it (or hiding it) unless you remove it from the configuration table in the database. Which would cause errors.
