osCommerce

The e-commerce.

Hi guys,

I tryiing to install the mobile plugin iOSC on an Oscommerce test site.

I currently use BigCommerce and i am starting to not regret the monthly expenses that service generates.

Thought about the possibliity of going it alone, and cut my monthly expenses by switching to an open source solution.

Unfortunately OSCommerce is more complicated and buggy than i thought.

The main thing i need is a mobile version to mirror my online store.

I went to http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/7636

and followed the instructions in detail..

Does anyone know of a step by step video or online guide (which i cant find) to get me up and running with iOSC?

Thanks

I'm currently working on new shopping site with OsCommerce that will be launched in the next month. This site will be mobile ready.

In my case, I only need to modify osCommerce catalog (frontpage) to HTML5+CSS3. That's what all I need for mobile website. No extra addon or contribution needed.

But porting OsC to HTML5+CSS3 is somewhat difficult...

I have to say, OsCommerce far from buggy, but... rigid, yes :: D

Well, what can you expect from something that is made from 00's era?
