rbytbs Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 We hired a web hosting company to build our storefront and they used the OsCommerce software. I was looking at adding our products to Google and they asked for a "Product Feed". A little digging turned up this link which seems to be an add on necessary to isolate a product feed. I am unsure how to install it to the program, however, since it is hosted on our web host rather than on our own computers. Advise would be greatly appreciated. All we need is to access a product link, but our web host wants to charge us $200 to make it possible. That seems a bit gratuitous, particularly since they informed us that we own the OC software. I want to make sure that this is not something I can do on my own first. Thanks in advance.
Guest Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Quite honestly, they can ask for any amount they would like. $200.00 seems a bit extreme as it usually takes less than 45 minutes to install that add on. You could even download and install it yourself, there are detailed instructions in the download. Chris
