Images in separate folders by manufacturers

Is there an add-on that will allow me to place uploaded images in multiple custom directories? I am currently using easy populate to manage this so all images for each manufacturer are in their own directory but if an image is uploaded using the admin it goes to the default images directory.

 

I know there are add-ons to change the default image directory but that just points to a single different directory rather than multiple custom directories.

I would also be interested in this topic, I have recently installed 2.3 and it's suppose to have the possibility to set mutiple images per product although I cannot see how from the administration panel. I see that there's a table products_images which could be used for this goal but with the administration panel the only record written here is the one of the "large image".

 

Also noticed that the released version comes with multiple subfolders in the images folder but they're not used, which if I understood correctly is what this topic is requesting in the first place.

osCommerce 2.3.1 lets you add multiple product images by default.

 

Just below the main image add area in the product admin click the "Add Large Image" link to add more images.

These images will be placed in the catalog/images directory.

 

I was asking if that location could be changed on a per product basis idealy if a product is assigned to a manufacturer then the images would go into a directory for that manufacturer automatically :)
