BenCox Posted September 20, 2011 Share Posted September 20, 2011 Hello Everyone, I am having a little trouble with the modules boxes sort order on my installation of Oscommerce. Could someone please fill me in on any limitations they have found regarding the sort orders? and how exactly they work? I'm a programmer so will be happy with any technical suggestions someone might provide. Could someone point in the direction of the code that sorts the modules? My installation does not seem to like high numbers and will not follow the sort order on all boxes, most seem to be in the correct position but not all. Guest Posted October 18, 2011 Share Posted October 18, 2011 Are you using 2.31? This handles the infoBoxes differently that earlier versions. If so, are you changing the sort via the admin modules control panel? There you have two sort possibilities: Left or Right, then in the numeric order you can determine on each side. Generally the 1000 range is reserved for the left side, with the 5000 range for the righthand side. If you have a 1000 range item listed as being on the right hand side, it will appear in front of all other boxes on that side. In any case, the sorts are done in admin/modules.php Good luck!
