Tax not being added for new customers - Help Please

Hello,

 

I hope that someone can help me with an issue I have regarding the Tax module. I have set it up as the Australia Goods and Services Tax (GST) which is 10% of the price.

 

I've added this module to each item in the store and it is working fine.

 

The issue I have just found, is that if a user creates a new customer account and purchases something, the GST is not calculating and is not added to the total. But should an existing customer (who has purchased in the past) returns and purchases, the GST is calculated fine.

 

I think this may be an issue somewhere that it's saying if the order count is 0, don't add tax, but if order count is 1 or more, add tax.

 

 

Does any one have any idea how to rectify the issue, or where the problem with an array in the PHP code may be so I can alter it?

 

 

I've attached 2 images so you can see the administrator side of the orders to tell the difference. One is an existing customer and one is a new customer.

is the new customer from the same location? I think you need to check the zones.

That thought occurred to me too, but unfortunately it's customers from all around Australia that are having the same issue.

 

Any other ideas?

For me also tax is not calculating for new registered users...i checked the zone for new customer. but for both new and old users same zone is used...

 

is anyother way to calculate for new users...
