Guest Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Hello, I hope that someone can help me with an issue I have regarding the Tax module. I have set it up as the Australia Goods and Services Tax (GST) which is 10% of the price. I've added this module to each item in the store and it is working fine. The issue I have just found, is that if a user creates a new customer account and purchases something, the GST is not calculating and is not added to the total. But should an existing customer (who has purchased in the past) returns and purchases, the GST is calculated fine. I think this may be an issue somewhere that it's saying if the order count is 0, don't add tax, but if order count is 1 or more, add tax. Does any one have any idea how to rectify the issue, or where the problem with an array in the PHP code may be so I can alter it? I've attached 2 images so you can see the administrator side of the orders to tell the difference. One is an existing customer and one is a new customer. Thank you in advance. - Kaz
web-project Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 is the new customer from the same location? I think you need to check the zones. Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
Guest Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 That thought occurred to me too, but unfortunately it's customers from all around Australia that are having the same issue. Any other ideas?
