Emily J Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Okay, I am new to OS Commerce. I just down loaded version 3.0.1, which I think is the newest version?? I am looking at the files and I'm like, "what am I supposed to do with this??" I don't have a web host chosen yet, I hope this doesn't sound dumb, but basically I'm wondering if there is any way to work on my ecommerce site offline. I have some knowledge of Dreamweaver and I have built my website in Dreamweaver. Now I would just like to add a shopping cart element to my website. I'm hoping there is some file I can open with Dreamweaver so that I can edit the CSS and the look of the site. I just don't know what file that is or where to find it in the maze of files. Thank you for any help!
Guest Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Emily, DELETE IT ! Then download the working version 2.3.1. I don't suggest using Dreamweaver to work with osCommerce, you should use a text editor such as Notepad++ or Editplus+ Chris
