Am I correct in thinking that whilst Oscommerce 2.3.1 is a good cart. It’s really needs a CSS professional to get it looking good?

 

The install was hassle free, but now i've come to making the site look hot, I don't see any 'conventional' html.

 

Background: I've just finished one site for my small business using Cube Cart, I would rather suck a lemon than do that again. www.novanutri.co.uk I now need a second site and I need it to look as good if not better.

 

Any feedback appreciated.

There isn't any real HTML in osCommerce. osCommerce is written in Php.

 

You could use Theme Roller to change the layout or you might want to consider a template. There are many commercial sites that sell osCommerce templates.
