MrPhil Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 In case you're wondering, MSx is Mile Stone x, and RCx is Release Candidate x. A milestone is a major code drop, while a release candidate is something that feels like "this may be ready to release... give it a try". 2.2 MS1, MS2, RC1, RC2, RC2a; 2.3, 2.3.1. I don't think there was anything officially released in-between any of those levels. osCommerce 2.x took some weird and confusing numbering jumps over its life (RC2a should have been followed by 2.2 Gold, but instead they jumped to 2.3).
