CarlDavidRobinson Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Hi guys, i need some help, have a feeling theres alot more to it then just changing one or 2 files! how can i change the details i require from a customer when they are signing up? In particular when signing up it asks for a fax number (fax really? anyone still use those things?) which is not required, i would like this to be "Mobile Number" and have that as required, if its easy enough to do i may also wish to add other forms such as alternative e-mail address and/or mobile number 2 etc. could someone give me a step by step guide on which files and which parts to change? or point me towards a module that would allow me to change such options in the admin section? I'm using v2.3.1 and i've attached a screenshot of my sign-up page if it helps at all...
Guest Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Carl, I would suggest just changing the language definition from fax to Mobile or Cell but would not suggest making it mandatory as some customers may not have a cell phone. Chris

Chris Hi Chris, Thanks for the advice, can you elaborate on what you mean? where would i find the laungage definition? would i only need to change the create_account.php file? cheers in advance
