I just got hit this week with someone putting some code in my "Store Name" area in the config.php database..

I removed it and then the site came back online.

I went to my cpanel and changed my user password and now my site cant connect to the store database anymore..

I wish I knew more about os com, it was an inherited website.. So I was stuck trying to learn it..

Now I dont know where the settings are to get my database and store pointed back towards each other..

Damn, all I did was change my password for the main user in cpanel..

My isp host told me this but its like greek to me..

"The mysql user was probably either dropped from the database or it needs the password changed also.

It is most likely that the mysql user needs to be re-added"

Shane,

You have to edit the /includes/configure.php and /admin/includes/configure.php files to change the database password to match whatever you changed it to in your hosting account control panel.

As Dunweb stated do the config work.

Also recommended is that you rename admin folder plus password protect it.
