qwertyjjj Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I was deleting and copying language folders to my site but all of a sudden the categories and products have disappeared. They seem to be in the database still but will not appear on the admin pages. Any ideas what to check? They all seem to have the language_id set so the only thing I can think of is that a session or the admin pages is setting my language_id to a different number.
web-project Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 you will find that the products are link to languages via language_id, you will need to find the language_id for default language and update the language_id in products_options, products_description tables Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.
