Pleas bear with me if this is ultra basic. This is my first attempt at using OSCOmmerce, so it is all new to me.

Within the product listing there is small image with "Click to enlarge"

In my case the image size for this is set at 100px by 80px.

I appreciate that if the original image uploaded is greater than 100px by 80px (say 600px x 480px) then OSC will resize it to fit 100px by 80px (and the image file size is in Kbs is unaltered), and when "Click to enlarge" is clicked the original 600px by 480px image will pop up.

I'm guessing that this is not an efficient use of bandwidth as a 600px by 480px is significantly larger than 100px by 80px, particularly if there are many product images on the page.

Is it possible to reduce the amount of network traffic by having one small image defined for the product image listing (100px x 80px) and a second source for the "Enlarged" image so that the additional network traffic only occurs when requested by the user selecting the"Click to enlarge".

Is there a beautifully simple solution to this for someone who has no php skills yet?
