offie Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Hi, I have a slight variation on shipping costs. We sell large and small items. The shipping costs for all small items is £4.99 but if a customer buys goods at over £60 then shipping is free. However we also sell furniture goods and delivery for these goods is £45 but if the customer spends over £400 then shipping is free. Most of our furniture is in the 300 - 350 price range so they would need to buy two pieces of furniture to gain free shipping. I had a thought that if a customer buys lots of small items it is unlikely they would reach the £300 mark and so I set my delivery settings using Table rate at: 59.99:4.99,60.00:0.00,300:45,400:0.00 that is up to £59.99 they pay £4.99 for shipping £60 to £299.99 they get free shipping, £300 to £400 they pay £45 for shipping and higher than £400 they get free shipping. During my testing as soon as I reach £60 the shipping is showing at £45, the section 60:0.00 is being skipped. Over £400 is showing correctly as zero shipping. Below £60 is showing correctly at £4.99. It should not matter whether they combine furniture and small goods the pricing structure should still work with only one delivery cost depending on the total value of the goods. Why is the middle section 60.00:0.00 not working and moving up to the next level? Any ideas? Thanks Michael
offie Posted September 2, 2011 Author Posted September 2, 2011 Sorry, my fault got my settings wrong. It should have been 59.99:4.99,299.99:0.00,399.99:45,400:0.00. Sorry for any inconvenience Michael
