Guest Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Hello, I am new here! I would like to know if its possible to have the script installed and several shops in a single domain. Example: www.site.com/shop1 www.site.com/shop2 www.site.com/shop3 www.site.com/shop4 Seems this plugin can do it: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1730 but its pretty old Thanks in Advance
NodsDorf Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 You can have as many shops as you want on a single domain. Making them work together is a different issue.

Thanks for replying, yes I know, I can have installed one script per folder, but thats not the idea, I want the script managing several shops.
satish Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 You should check Hobzilla Multi store contribution. It had been used by Many Multi store owners. Satish Ask/Skype for Free osCommerce value addon/SEO suggestion tips for your site. Check My About US For who am I and what My company does.
Guest Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Ann, The only solution on this forum is the Multishop contribution that you referred to in your original post but as you noticed it is old and out-dated If you Google oscommerce mall you will find there are some commercial versions available but they tend to be quite expensive. satish Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1730 you stated is Ryon Hobbs ( Hobzilla ) contribution that will work but for 2.3.x you will have to modify. If you are not looking for separate domains and if your categories and products for each store differ then you can also trick in by limiting that store code to allow access to specific category and products.
