Event Booking Solution

Hi, I'm new to osCommerce. I think it can do what I need, but I need some help/pointers to get me started. So if anyone has done something similar or knows of an add-on that will help, that would be great.

 

Here's what I need...

An event booking system where events are organised "on demand".

Process

1) Customer makes on line enquiry, is event ABC available on dd/mm/yy?

2) If one exists and has places available, they go immediately to booking and payment

3) If not available, enquiry is logged and email sent to admin

4) Admin (human!) checks requirement and, if event possible, responds to confirm availability

5) Customer books and pays for confirmed available event

6) Option to pay a deposit rather than full amount needs to be available

 

Any thoughts on how to get started?

Hi Jackie,

 

 

I have PM'd you a link to an Event Booking site I know of that ha 'part' of the features you want. It would have to be modified further to allow for deposits on purchases but the other portions of the site are already in place.
