Setup Paypal with osComm v.2.3.1

Has anyone setup Paypal using osCommerce 2.3.1? I'm so confussed at this point in trying to figure this out, that I'm simply looking for someone to point me in the right direction please. I'm new to osCommerce but am able to understand the basics to make changes etc. as needed.

 

I need this help QUICKLY!!!

Which paypal module you ar elooking for:

-- Paypal pro.

-- express checkout or

-- Standard.

 

Go to Admin >> Module >> Payment and you will find modules available by default.

I'm looking to implement Paypal Standard. I'm getting no success on the test to Sandbox and keep getting an error that prevents test transactions to go to the sandbox because it says that the token has already been used. I can setup a Webex meeting so you can see this and make any reviews and changes to my configurations if you like.

 

Please let me know what I can do to FINALLY get Paypal to work.

Are you sure you have the right sandbox and setup.

 

Can you exactly place what error is displayed.

This is what appears in the top of the browser address when I try to hit "continue" to send the order to Paypal.

With express checkout this might happen once in a while.

 

There is a token concept used by paypal.

 

When you click on express chekcout button and post to paypal a response has a token.This token is refered till your payment is done.Once done you can not reuse same token.

 

What happens is that when a payment is made for some reason response from paypal does not reach( generally because of Curl timeout so extend this to 30 seconds) so you keep trying to pay again( As your store is not aware that this payment or token already used ).

I'm not using express and it happens on anything that I try to check out with.

Hi there,

I am implementing for the first time Standard Paypal on my website. OSC 2.31, Paypal Standard 1.0 module.

I configured Paypal module and Paypal accounts and I am trying to accept a purchase, but the customer receives the following message: "PayPal no permite a su país de residencia enviar al país que desea" or "PayPal does not allow yourcountry of residence sent to the country you want."

I tried with sandbox test accounts too, seller and customer, but the mesage was the same.

 

 

I am in Chile, my real store is in chile, my real Paypal account belongs to Chile (it dont have banc account or credit card yet)

Sandbox test accounts are verified and belong to USA because Chile is not on the Paypal list.

 

I dont know what can be happening. Please help. Thanks a lot.
