Categories and errors

Hello

 

I have cat A - A1 - Product a

Product b

- A2 - Product a

product b

 

 

and when i click whats new and then click on the a- a1 category

 

i get

 

Warning: substr() expects parameter 3 to be long, string given in /home/thebottl/public_html/includes/modules/new_products.php on line 56

 

I'm not sure what the issue is :(

You cannot have products and sub-categories mixed.

 

 

 

ACCEPTABLE:

 

-Category 1

-- Sub-category 1

---- Product 1

---- Product 2

-- Sub-category 2

---- Product 3

--Category 2

-- Product 4

-- Product 5

 

 

UNACCEPTABLE:

 

-Category 1

-- Sub-category 1

---- Product 1

- Product 2

- Product 3
