"Featured Products for 'Month' "

Hello All,

 

Is there a way to change how the Featured Products (from a particular month) are displayed on the homepage? We have 9 high-selling items that we would like to continuously display on the homepage but do not know how to make this work in osCommerce.

I assume you're speaking about the New Products Module that "features" new products based on the date they were added to the catalog.

 

The solution you're looking for is replacing the New Products Module with the Featured Products Module which allows you to "Feature" specific products and completly replaces the default New Products Module.

 

This is an add-on.

Thank you for the valuable information. I was able to download the appropriate file and am in the process of installing the add-on (by the way, the Install Text file is great!). Could you please clarify one thing for me: Step 2 of the "Copy Files" section state:

 

"Step 2:

FTP all of the files and folders inside the New Files folder. Copy the directory structure that came with this archive, as it is."

 

The New_Files folder contains admin and includes files and a featured_products php file. I understand that I need to FTP these folders and files to the server. I do not understand when the directions state: "copy the directory structure that came with this archive, as it is." Could you please clarify that??
