I downloaded the osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.1 zip file, extracted it, upload the files via FTP, ran the install process etc with no errors. When you visit the website, no site! If I check the webspace, the oscommerce files are present. I have checked the admin/includes/configure.php and includes/configure.php files after installation and they appear to be pointing correctly. I'm baffled with this one because I've uploaded a few of these with no problems before. I have also reset the "Directory" for the website domain and again, no success. Any suggestions or advice would be great guys Thank you Steve
Guest Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Steve, If the files are there, even if they are set up incorrectly you would receive an error or see the site when you browse to the proper directory. My thought would be it is the hosting account not being set up correctly. Chris

musicmaestro Posted August 28, 2011 Author Posted August 28, 2011 Ok, sorted! Turns out that there was an index.htm file in the folder as a temporary measure whilst the site was waiting to be developed. The .htm was removed and now we can see the site. Steve
