Hi and thanks in advance for any help. I have a store with many products. I cannot sell outside the USA and only need that language for my whole site. Is this possible? If so how? My new web designer says all languages must appear in my product list. I am uploading csv files with different categories. Thanks and hope you can point me in the right direction. Cabinguy

Bud,

Never hire a web designer to do a web developers job !

In admin>> localization>> languages . Highlight and delete any language you don' want. HOWEVER, be sure to set English as the default before removing the other languages.

ALSO, if your website is NEW...and you have other languages installed....then your 'web designer' has sold you an outdated version of osCommerce and you should get your money back. The latest stable version is 2.3.1 and ONLY comes with English as a language.

Thanks Chris for responding. We have already done that.

I installed the latest version from the beginning. The CSV file

just needs the place holders... no way around that yet. I copy and pasted

this from the admin>tools>version info page of the site:

Version Checker

Installed Version: osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.1

You are running the latest version of osCommerce Online Merchant

Hi Bud,

Well, v2.3.1 ONLY has ONE language installed when downloaded.......English.

Atleast you have v2.3.1, some 'designers' try to pass off older versions.
