:) For some reason the categories on the index page are different when clicking on a product?

How do I make all categories uniform throughout the site.

:) For some reason the categories on the index page are different when clicking on a product?

How do I make all categories uniform throughout the site. Also, the products are not showing in the categories, they show only as new products.

 

I noticed the there are files appearing under catalog/ named: cachecategories_box-english.cache22 (and several more of the same?)

I am not sure what you mean. The ONLY change you might see is the display of sub-categories if you have the categories set up to use sub-categories.

I deleted some files that were in catalog/ and now it works fine. whew, not to keen on deleting files and did save just in case.

 

Chris how do I edit content on the index page? thank you for all your help :D
