catalano Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Hello, I'm trying to figure out where I defined the email address for the shop owner. I just did a test transaction and the Order Process email was delivered to me as a customer successfully. The only problem is that the 'from' address was one that my client doesn't really use. I went into Configuration -> My Store and the Email address field is listed as <ADMINEMAIL> and the Email From field is listed as "company name" <<ADMINEMAIL>>. I don't see any other place that this would have been configured. I saw a similar post that said that OSC doesn't create that address field like that and that it was probably the result of an add-on. In my case this is a stock OSC installation other than having Apsona ShopAdmin installed to help with some product database uploads. Does anyone have any idea where OSC is setting this email address? g2777 Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 I set up my installation last night (first time) and I couldn't find a reference to this either. I gave up trolling through the code in every page and just settled for typing an e-mail address into the box instead of <<ADMINEMAIL>>. In my case it worked ok but it'd be nice to know if this is a placeholder or a variable reference. I couldn't find it in the documentation and I've read that it's not a part of the vanilla osC. My install came from my host so it may be an incorporated add-on in some set ups. Graham Not enough time in the day. Need a time machine... Would build one, but not enough time. Ironically.
