Guest Posted August 23, 2011 Share Posted August 23, 2011 I have a client running osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.1 and he ships small and large packages around the world. He is using the the UPS and USPS shipping modules to provide shipping rates. However, we are running into a lot problems with these modules which I think are based on the way items are entered into oscommerce. OSC on asks for the weight of the item and not the dimension. Since many of the items are over sized shipping rates are not being calculated correctly. Additionally some items come in a set. Example would be (4) 20" rims with a total weight of 140lbs. In this set, each rim is shipped in a separate box at 35 lbs each but OSC only allows you to enter one product weight. My question is whether there is an update that i can add that allows the client to enter the dimension of the package to be shipped as well specify how many packages are in each order and each weight?
