Hello everybody...

i made a huge mistake :'(

i tried to install the faq desk, but since it give me sql errors that i dont understand how to resolve, i decided to go to myphpadmin a delete the faqs entries, but instead of that i deleted the entire database and i dont have de sql format of the database, only the files that were inside the database folder, is there a way to make them work again, only with what i have?

and i already inserted almost 300 products, is there a way to recover that work, or i will have to do it again??

please some help me :(

Back up are here :

.../catalog/admin/backups

Copy it to your computer.

Then in phpmyadmin, go at yourdb/SQL, upload the file then Execute.

If you have more 300 products, use Easy populate addon. You can import large catalog just with a click.

thanks for your reply :)

Do you have backup you database using the admin panel ? Yes/No

If yes, go on your ftp and look in folder /catalog/admin/backups/ and look there is files in.

Files are like that

db_db-name-xxxxxx.sql

If you have nothing, then you have lost all your data!!! Sorry.

edit: sorry, look here, i have rename my admin folder /catalog/admin/backups/

yes, i've lost everything :(

and with that easy populate add-on, how it works exactly??

If you have all your products in a excel file, then it's the easiest way to do it. Specially if you have many attributes (size, color).

Download the contribution, in it your have a full help. Resintall oscommerce, create a product only. Then export all using easy populate. And copy paste all your products in.

/!\ you must to create products with model number first online.

unfortunately i had just the names of products in word, then i went to the internet and searched for specifications and copy/paste them to oscommerce and formatted it my way, all those 300 times :(

so what you are telling me is to install easy populate then i go to oscommerce and create one product, and then will start the easy work??
