Guest Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Hi, in a shop just set-up, we have Euro, GBP and USD. Language and country is set to EN and UK. The currency default is set to GBP. We changed the USD notation in includes/languages/english.php to GBP. It insists on displaying USD ans the default currency We deleted the USD currency and it defaults to GPB, we put back USD and check the english.php is still showing GBP. Refreshed the site and it goes back to displaying USD as default. Delete USD again and it goes to GBP as default. So, when USD currency is added something gets written to OSC 2.3.1 that overwrites the country, currency and language settings all put as EN and GBP as appropriate. We can not find any other reference to USD as currency. Please help, its driving us nuts. Regds Jonathan
web-project Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 try set the Switch To Default Language Currency to false and set in oscommerce admin panel the GBP as default currency. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.
