Still having the problem with ordering Product Attributes ?

Hi

 

I've asked about this before, as well as trying some options I've found looking on Google, but its not worked for my particular version.

 

Basically I have A-Z ring sizes for my products, for rings that we sell. When we add these at present they show in any old order, and clearly that's just a nightmare.

 

Everything else seems to be working perfectly with our Oscommerce 2.3.1 installation, but we simply can't run the website without the attributes being in order.

 

I have tried the Products Attributes Sort v1.0 which was kindly recommended by a couple of users, BUT though I've changed the php page fine when attempting to run 'attribute_sort.sq' file, I get an error #1060 - Duplicate column name 'attribute_sort', and this is where the problem lies.

 

I've attached an image of the error.

 

Please help, I realise Osc 2.3.1 is free and that's great BUT this is so important, we can't run the shop without it.

 

I'd be happy to provide privately the login details for someone to help, and even pay if needed.

OK looking through the forum search results for this contribution, tons of people seem to be having problems, some the same as mine.

 

Did you guys find an answer, or does it just not work with 2.3.1 ?

 

I'm open to other options, just NEED this to work.

Burt thanks for the response, so you are saying that it should be working and basically I've tried to run something that is already there ?

Gary think I've just sent you a message via another site, http://www.clubosc.com/sorting-options-and-attributes-in-2-3-1.html/comment-page-1#comment-5528 this page appears to say there a fix that you have come up with ?
