Front Page Design in oscommerce 2.3

hi Guys,

 

I am hoping that someone will be able to help me, I have just upgraded to osc 2.3 (I love it! thank you to everyone who is making the contributions and helping to build it up) I am wondering though, with previous versions I used STS (Big bummer this hasn't been done for osc 2.3 it made life too easy!) to actually make graphical front pages that I could remove the left column and then add it in for later pages, I have been searching and reading alot about the options for how to do this but I am stumped! If anyone could offer me some insight into how I can get this working it would be most appreciated!
