Guest
I just installed MenuTabs and I really like it. I think it's great for improving navigation. My question is that Nescape 7.0 (I've only tested on IE 6.0, NS 7.0 and Opera 7.0 - I wish I had older browsers to play with :( ) doesn't recognize the CSS styles for the tabs. It does work for all my other css styles - the breadcrumb, the text links... just not the tabs. Does anyone have any insight into this why this happens? Is it how I installed it or is that normal? Guest
I don't have any answers for you ... but my opinon is reinforced.. Netscape/aol/miva are all the devil  Netscape 4.7 .. a couple of weird things .. - your wallpaper bg in the header and footer do not appear - as a matter of fact, the green portion of your footer (with ?) is missing - there is nearly a two inch gap from your graphic on the left to the actual start of the Furniture tab - your breadcrumb Home link appears directly under the Decorative Art tab *** and the winner is *** - There is no 'Learn More About' box in the main page display  (only 'Browse by Category' I will never understand NN .. we are all on the same team here .. why not play nice ? Guest
Ouch! I just downloaded NS 4.8 to see for myself. My gut tells me that I shouldn't worry about it. Although I'd had to lose potential customers from my shop just because they have an older browser. However I still am confused about the NS 7.0 issue. I looked at http://www.pdpatch.com/osc/catalog/default.php in NS 7.0 and it looked fine. It must be something I did. I'll keep playing. Thanks. toolcrazy
I use Mozilla 1.3, don't like IE or Netscape, I know Mozilla is nestscape based, and your tabs work just fine. Need to change the rollover color, but it works and looks just fine. Steve -------------------------
dreamscape
you have 2 of the same class defined in your stylesheet... the browser doesn't know which one to use... TD.tab { background-image: url(images/tabs/tab_middle.gif); font-family: Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 11px; color: #ffffff; /* BOF: menu-category Tabs */ TD.tab { background-image: url(images/tabs/tab_middle.gif); background-repeat: repeat; color: #6699cc; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-style: normal; font-weight: bold; font-size: smaller; } IE and opera choose the 2nd one, and NS chooses the 1st one (that isn't even closed)... Guest
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my stylesheet. That was it. Sometimes you look at something too long and it starts to look like gibberish and a fresh set of eyes really helps out. Mark
