Min weight 3 lbs? USPS Methods for API v3 (osC 2.2))

Hey everyone!

 

I'm currently using the USPS Methods for API v3 (osC 2.2)) module for shipping, and for some reason it starts everything's weight at a base 3 lbs. This is a problem because I have small items [0.16 oz] that would ship fine in an envelope, but the USPS calculator has it listed as 3lbs, 0.16 oz and so, the smaller shipping methods [parcel post, letter] are not available. Help! :(

Have you checked admin>> configuration>> shipping /packaging to ensure the TARE weight is zero ??
