Guest Posted March 17, 2003 Share Posted March 17, 2003 A few years back I was using a shopping cart which is no longer available but which had a very nice feature which I think would be a useful module for osCommerce. It was a feature which allowed credit cards to be encoded and sent via email so that the store owner, who already took credit cards, to process the credit cards off line rather than use a gateway. It used a one time pad type of encryption - sending a scrambled credit card number in one email and a code to unencrypt in a separate email -- allowing the credit card to be safely processed by via the business's bank and not through a processing gateway. Is there such a module available, is there any software around which could be linked to osCommerce - or might someone with better programming skills than I be willing to write a module like the above?
