Product image when selected.

Hello, so...

 

I make all my product images on a background of 500x400 pixels (in order to keep the ratio for the small image box)

 

However when clicking the item, the displayed image is the full size. So when clicking it, theres no enlarge effect etc.

 

Is this normal? If so, how do i change it?

 

Also, the description appears below the image and make a horizontal scroll bar, any ideas how to make it above and into a paragraph as such.
