Twill Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Hey There, Please forgive my general lack of aptitude when it comes to what I am about to describe. I'm new to osc and have been struggling to get my site up and running for some time now and have reached a bit of an impasse. The primary and most difficult hurdle seems to be our inability to upload our inventory (a fairly crucial part of any commerce site). When I attempt to do this only a very small portion of the inventory file (a tab-delimited excel file) gets uploaded to the site as new product when the rest and larger portion does not appear but shows as an update in the file upload information on OSC. The same thing happens when I split the file as well. Not sure what is going on but it has caused a great deal of frustration and delay... Help. Please help...please.
satish Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 No extra tabs( assuming you are uploading a tab seperated file). Avoid special chars they might break sql query.
