How do I manually edit the database name and password

I need to manually edit the database name and password in the oscommerce file, however I can't seem to find what file it is located in. I am not talking about editing in phpmyadmin, I can do that as I had to change the password because I could not remember the old one, now my store will not connect so I need to know which file this information is actually stored in so that I can change it.

Thanks in advance,

Tim

Catalog/includes/configure.php and Admin/includes/configure.php

Now running on a fully modded, Mobile Friendly 2.3.4 Store with the Excellent MTS installed - See my profile for the mods installed ..... So much thanks for all the help given along the way by forum members.

You specify the database name, username and password in your host's control panel. You could try asking them for some quick assistance.

That is incorrect.

To modify the database access information, you will find it in the /includes/configure.php and /admin/includes/configure.php as Heather mentioned above.
