Paypal Express - 500 Internal Server Error

I am configuring OSCommerce to use PayPal Express. Every time I try to process either a sandbox transaction or a live transaction, I receive a 500 Internal Server Error. Is anyone else having this issue or is there someone who has and has resolved it?

 

I am using v2.3.1.

The PayPal modules do not call upon the .htaccess files so I don't understand how they are triggering the 500 Internal Server Error. Does your hosting account have all available ports open ?

Thanks for the quick response. I have been working with the hosting company and it appears that there might be a different issue that is causing the problem. I will let you know if they are unable to resolve it.

internal server error come in for different reasons.

 

Some are :

404 page not found.

Server not able to send emails.

Any configuration that is conflicting too will result in internal server error.
