Paypal Express not working

Hi everyone,

 

My clients oscommerce site is not working properly. When a product is added to cart and then you get taken to Paypal following checkout, you click the proceed button in paypal but instead of processing the order, it returns back to the website shopping cart and says "Your Shopping Cart is empty!"

 

No order is processed and no transactions recorded on Paypal.

 

I'm using latest version of OsCommerce, Paypal express and just cannot figure this out.

 

Thought it might have had something to do with https (secure) as it was working prior to that, so disabled secure elements from configure.php but getting exact same issues using http.

 

Please help as this is fundamental to the shop. We cannot process any orders :(

Exactly which version of osCommerce are you using ? Are the PayPal Express credentials correct ? The SSL makes no difference to PayPal, PayPal does not even look for an SSL as once you get to the PayPal site, the transaction is automatically SSL.

Thanks for the quick reply Chris.

 

I believe it's 3.0.2 (where does it actually tell you this?). Regardless, it was installed about 4 weeks ago and admin confirms latest version.

 

As for the issue, I have just tried to "Test API Credentials" button from admin>module>payment>paypal express and it failed with HTTP404 Not found error

 

However, the admin/HTTPS_SERVER/admin/ext/modules/payment/paypal/paypal_express.php is definitely present.

 

This must be related to the issue - any ideas.

v3.x is NOT ready for production use. You SHOULD be using v2.3.1 for a production store. Installation of the correct version will rectify any issues you are having.
