Oscommerce page layout screwed up

Hi, i'm new here and also verry new to OsCommerce.

I have a problem with my site i'm building in OsC.

so i installed my OsCommerce and installed a template on it, wich was working perfectly.

Until i started deleting the preview catergories/products.

now my entire layout is screwed up and i can't seem to get it working anymore.

You are using a version of osCommerce that is more than 8 years old and is NOT SECURE. You need to delete it and download osCommerce v2.3.1 which is the latest stable release.

this is stuff i will fix later right now i just need to know what is causing my items to pop out of my template

That 'stuff' is more important than you current issue and should be corrected IMMEDIATELY.

well you see the problem is this site needs to be delivered by tomorow.

i can't change the template or the oscommerce cause this template is made for the outdated oscommerce system and i just CAN'T change it anymore.

the fact that everyone can acces my admin panel is not my biggest concern.

i can fix the security isues afterwards the site needs to LOOK ok first.

Where do you have find this template ? Please put a link.

It's like the template/version doesn't match.

don't remember anymore but it came out of a pack that i downloaded i adjusted only the pictures of the template (kept the orignal sizes and all) and it was an oscommerce 2.2 template i believe (this site was a project i started months ago and i had to pick it up again last week cause the customer finally responded again.)

problem is that they aproved the system + layout so i can't change it anymore now.

edit: also i remember that this template had the oscommerce installed with it becouse i first uploaded the osc and wanted to use the template then but it din't work caus ei needed an older version of osc.

then i realized the osc came with it.

i know i have security isues and so on i just need to know how to fix the layout,

that my items fit in the template.

 

the screwing up of the template occured when i deleted al the sample products and started adding my own.
