crappieman Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I checked my config settings as posted in another post having same problems. I was able to login once but not always and new customers are having problems logging in after creating account. They are redirected to sign in page after trying to login. Page is located at http://www.customcrappiejigs.com/shoppingcart/ Please help!!! I was wanting to put osCommerce on a clients website but not til I can get it working correctly.
Guest Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Joey, I had no problems creating an account, following a purchase all the way to PayPal, logging out and then in again, using FF5 and IE8 ps. If you are offering professional services with osCommerce, you shouldn't be. Not until you become more familiar with the cart. And, you should fix the logo by editing the stylesheet.css here: #header { height: 60px; } Chris

I am using IE9, could that be the problem and how can I fix it if it is a browser issue? Thanks for the advice on the logo.
Guest Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Joey, IE9 is full of bugs right now and people are only using it because MS sent auto-updates to everyone's computer and most just accepted it. HOWEVER, I am sure that even after the bugs are worked out of IE9 that osCommerce will need to be patched to become compatible with it. Also, my comment was not to discourage you from using osCommerce, it was to state that if you are offering professional services and have never used osCommerce before, that you should NOT offer osCommerce websites to your clients until you have become very familiar with the software. Learning how to use osCommerce on your clients time is an injustice to the client. Chris
crappieman Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 OK, thanks Chris for the advice. I'm trying to learn this software on my personal site and on my daughters but those are both on my time.
crappieman Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 Chris can you tell me why the software doesn't take the Texas entry when joining or editing account?
