SSL htaccess

I'm having trouble logging in after applying htaccess file to site for SSL purposes. I saw these lines below and wondering if this correct?

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.jaycarsales.com');

define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.jaycarsales.com');

define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://jajyjjjjatcom.powweb.com');

define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true');

Am I missing something?

Your /includes/configure.php should look something like this:

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.jaycarsales.com');

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.jaycarsales.com');

define('ENABLE_SSL', true);

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.jaycarsales.com');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.jaycarsales.com');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

etc etc

your /admin/includes/configure.php file should look something like this:

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'https://www.jaycarsales.com');

define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.jaycarsales.com');

define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://www.jaycarsales.com');

define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true');

There are NO changes to the .htaccess file when enabling an SSL certificate.
