use session system in a custom page

Hello guys,

 

I'm trying to convert a site to an eshop.

The site has over 2.000.000 products and i cant add these manually.

The existing old site has a database which can i print it in tables.

I'm thinking use the old database, print products in tables, and close to every product add a buy it now! button.

How can i use the buyitnow button to send the product to the market basket?

PS. If i cant do this in 3 version pls show me how can i do this in 2.

From what i see, when the user click the buy button in product_info.php, the application send a session to the server and get it again when forwrding to shopping_cart.php. Can someone tell me what the session save in the server? What variable?

v3.x is NOT a working release, it is ONLY the framework. If you want a production store, download and install v2.3.1
