How to Merge two login sessions with an older version of OSC

 

I am not a developer and consider myself an idiot in PHP . I hav few webshops (older version in PHP) i want to install new version on a separate folder and merge both the login sessions so that user do not have to register or login twice .(pls note both are iin the same domain).I do not want to upgrade the older due to some custum made modules that are being used ..also new versions have some separate modules that only work with the currentg versions so i want user to have experience of both the modules ..i do not mind if its in a separate folder ..but do not want to annoy the customers by registering or logging twice ....how do i solve this issue .

 

Example

 

olderversion is in the domain(root) mysite.com

new version is installed in (separate database) mysite.com/new
