Cannot access admin area

Hello,

 

I have successfully installed OScommerce in the public html bit of my site, but cannot access the admin area - the page hangs, then eventually gives up with a 'page not found' message. Any ideas?

Alex,

 

If the page times out, I would suggest it is a permissions problem or server configuration problem.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried changing all permissions to '777' but I am still having the same problem.
