WP Theme usage

I'm trying to make my WP.osC cart use the same theme as the rest of the WP site. The instructions "To create a new WP.osC template :" in the WP.osC instructions seem a little vague unless you've been hanging out with the developers and understand the "language".

My first question:

If I'm using a standard WP theme on my WP site do I need to change anything? If not, how do I get WP.osC to use that theme? Do I just duplicate the theme in the WP.osC folder (seems a little unlikely that it would be designed that way). Is there a parameter somewhere I haven't found that points to the main theme?

If that is not the case (maybe even if it is the case, never know what I may need to do later) Please define the term "Template" as it is used in the WS.osC theme context. Is it just the index.php file from the wp theme in use, the entire theme package, or something totally different that?

If its just the index.php then what are the differences between the standard wp functions and the WP.osC functions. Looking at wp-osc.php, the function names seem pretty much identical.

What am I missing here?

Finally (I think finally, the answers will probably lead to more questions, they often do), if its just the index.php file is it just placed in the themes directory or does it get put into the themes/default directory?

I really appreciate any help that can be offered.

Thank you,

Bruce

Bruce,

I believe your question would be better served on the WP forum.
